Apple iPhone 17 Air and Pro Max India Prices Leaked

Apple is preparing to unveil its next-generation iPhone 17 series in September 2025. Though the tech giant has not officially confirmed the date, sources suggest a possible launch event on September 9.
According to industry insiders, Apple plans to introduce four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. These devices are expected to bring several changes across hardware, design, and pricing.
While Apple maintains secrecy around its product launches, analysts project that the iPhone 17 series will debut in the second week of September. Tech analyst David Phelan has pointed to September 9 as the most probable reveal date.
Leaks indicate the starting price of the base iPhone 17 in India could be Rs 89,900. The new iPhone 17 Air model might start at Rs 99,900. Meanwhile, the Pro models could command premium prices: iPhone 17 Pro at Rs 1,39,900 and iPhone 17 Pro Max at Rs 1,64,900.
Multiple reports hint at major improvements in the camera department. Notably, all models may get a 24MP front-facing camera—doubling the current resolution from the iPhone 16’s 12MP selfie camera. Analyst Jeff Pu first shared these details in August 2024, with Ming-Chi Kuo reaffirming them in January 2025.
The iPhone 17 Pro could debut with a redesigned horizontal camera array, including a 48MP telephoto lens supporting 3.5x optical zoom.
Apple’s new A19 Pro chip is likely to power the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, offering improvements in speed and power efficiency. The standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air may continue to use the A18 chipset from the iPhone 16 series.
Early leaks suggest minimal changes to the appearance of the iPhone 17 when compared to its predecessor. However, significant redesigns may be coming for the iPhone 17 Air and Pro models.
Leaker Majin Bu claims the iPhone 17 Pro could feature a new Apple logo position, moving it below the rear camera setup—a first for Apple’s smartphone design.
